Dadi, Prabu Janaka amung bapak angkate Dewi Shinta.Shinta dadi yogane Raden Rama amarga Rama bisa menangake sayembara ing Negara Mantili. Nalika Rama dibuang ing Alas Dhandaka, Shinta ugo melu Rama. Ing tengah alas, nalika Rama lan Lesmana ngoyak kidang kencana. Dasamuka nyulik Shinta lan Shinta digawa menyang Alengka.Rama lan Lesmana goleki Shinta lan nemoake yen Shinta ana ing Negara Alengka, banjur Rama perang karo Dasamuka. Dasamuka bisa dikalahake Rama.Sawise perang, Rama isih ragu marang kesuciane Dewi Shinta, banjur Shinta mlebu ing Geni kang ngobar. Shinta ora mati, malah tambah ayune. Akhire, Shinta, Rama lan Lesmana urip tentrem ing Negara Pancawati.
