Why you deserve a scholarship?

As a student seeking the best education Canada has to offer, I have achieved great academic standings and involved myself in a variety of community activities. Throughout my four years of high school, I have demonstrated responsibility, leadership and commitment. While leading the non-profitable organization, 'Free the Children' and being the executive head of my school magazine 'Yearbook', I have raised funds to build a well in Sierre Leone. Talking of volunteering, I am associated with Rotary International to help the community by being part of events such as cleaning up the beach. Last year, I received 'The Manager of the Year Award' for my contribution to the athletic department. I have managed my time wisely and achieved high academic standing required for universities. Being an honor-roll student, I will be able to attend the University of Toronto. I feel your scholarship will help me, and my family, offset some of my academic costs. What do you know about the Imam Razak Foundation? The Imam Razak Foundation, I have learned is available to those in need. After researching the Foundation, I also learnt that it is a non-profit organization with a mission. The mission being to provide resources and services to children of low-income families to pursue their academic goals. Imam Abdul Razak's son Mr.Sham Razak, and his wife Ms. Latifan continue to put forth their efforts to be the good people, that they already are.
