INTRODUCTON

After communicating through gestures, speech, writing, internet is now being considered as the fourth mode of communication. Compared to the other traditional modes of communication which have reached at a very advanced stage supported by principles and laws Internet still at the nascent stage of development. Being the latest mode of communication we would require laws to govern the newest mode. Being inter is gaining popularity at a rapid rate but the laws in comparison are at a developing stage. As Internet gains proliferation, so will the complexity of the cyber laws, covering more and more relevant and critical issues. Well still many countries are assimilating the complexity in the cyber space and the laws governing it, many countries including India have already laid down cyber laws. India a fastest growing global economy, information services and information technology are growing at a fastest rate which has brought a prosperous effect on the trade, commerce and economy at large. The Securities and Exchange Board of India is providing stock trading services using Internet, where the stock exchanges in the country are carrying out varieties of transaction and information exchange through the cyber space.
