Aratrika Roy/ 4237811 Reflection on Workshops The workshops conducted in all the three cycles of Exploring Interactions were

particularly helpful because they helped me clarify the interaction qualities I wanted to achieve. After each workshop, it made me think over the interaction vision all over again, whether it is really apt to achieve the design goal. And every time, I ended up making slight refinements or modifications in the interaction vision. In the first cycle, I wanted to achieve my goal by providing adequate information to patients in an interesting manner. After the workshop, I reflected deeply on the qualities I should incorporate, and finally decided to provide information to patients by creating a common platform for sharing health data and experiences among patients. The workshop in Cycle 1 was the most helpful, in my opinion, because it helped me relate my design goal and interaction vision to a metaphor, and follow the path. The workshop in Cycle 2 was again useful since I tested the interaction qualities that I had formulated and observed how it can differ based on people and situations. The workshop in Cycle 3 was done in order to test the design prototype. It enabled me to test my final concept and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback and suggestions.
