Course Content
New for 2011, this Instructional Course focuses on the new AFFIXUS Proximal Femoral Nail. The agenda covers indications, design rationale and surgical technique for the new AFFIXUS Proximal femoral nail as well as complications associated with proximal femoral fractures. The course features a mixture of didactic sessions, case discussions and sawbone workshops. Provisional Outline Agenda Session 1 - Lectures including Treatment Options for Proximal Femoral Fractures AFFIXUS Design Rationale and Surgical Technique Pitfalls, Tips and Tricks Session 2 - Faculty Demonstration Session 3 - Parallel groups Sawbone Workshops Case Discussion - Complications
