Course Objectives
The course aims at broadening and deepening master-degree students understanding of the nature and economic effects of international banking. First, we explain what international banking is and what makes international banking different from other types of banking. On the next part, we discuss on how international banking have effects on international cash flows and how the Eurocurrency markets have been created with their specific financial instruments. International debt market and financial off-shore centers are also important topics of the course. The last unit of the course will introduce country risk anaysis methods applied by international well-known ranking firms.
