Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant (Buena Park, CA)

Job Summary: Initiates, coordinates, and executes administrative support to the Director of Quality Assurance for a manufacturing company. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Document customer complaints and administer appropriate documents relative to the complaint. Process and maintain QA holds system. Maintain and update training requirements. Maintain policies and procedures. Maintain necessary internal and external documentation and records. Maintain SQF registers for Raw Materials, Finished Product, and Packaging Specifications. Maintain records of Supplier Self Surveys and COAs. Update forms and monitoring activity procedures. Responsible for processing and maintaining QA records and reports, and providing administrative assistance to the QA department and QA Manager. Order QA supplies and update HACCP related programs and monitoring activities. Successful candidates will have: Required 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of QC systems Advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related MS Office. Ability to grasp information necessary to perform outlined tasks Good communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to work well with others Excellent oral and written communication skills
