    Task Name: Installation of Basic Tools Task Description: 1. Objective Name: Installation of Ubuntu 10.04+: Objective Description: Install any version of Ubuntu from 10.04 11.10 (32 bit recommended), as per your convenience. Objective Verification: Create a wallpaper with a text of the form: Ubuntu <VERSION_NUMBER> <32bit/64bit> - <YOUR_PRN> Take a snapshot of this as shown in figure 1 and store it under the title objective1_result.png

Objective Name: Installation of Eclipse 3.5+ with CDT Objective Description: In your ubuntu installation, install Eclipse (min version 3.5) along with C++ Development Toolkit popularly known as Eclipse-CDT. Execute a simple C++ Hello World program. Objective Verification: Create a simple C++ Hello World project. In the main source file, add an author annotation // Author: <YOUR PRN> Take a screenshot of this as show in Figure 2 and store it under the title objective2_result.png

    Task Result Compilation: Zip both the screenshots task1_result.png and task2_result.png in one folder. Upload the zip to your personal Google Docs A/c. Change sharing settings of this zip file to make it public and note down the sharing URL.
