After teaching architecture for over 20 years &

having been granted the honor of direct involvement in the restoration of many historical architectural gems, an evolving passion was ignited, which along with my love of poetry, provided me with the impetus for artistic creation. My art is a personal relationship, and as diaspora, I have found that this allows me to reconnect with my roots and to travel back into those spaces, which I love so dearly, and to experience them again. My art is an integration of Poetry and Architecture. I also try to let my painting represent a combination of my roots with modern and contemporary art.

We at Senses Cultural would like to invite the community to support us in a joint effort with International House of Davis for a fun gathering for the Art Healing family program featuring some distinguished, classic, and modern creations from artists. We dedicate this program to inspire families in sharing some fun and valuable experiences together. Senses Cultural is proposing a series of presentations at I-House benefiting the BYkids Afghanistan project and its other philanthropic projects.
