Inquiry Proposal A. My focus for the Inquiry Project is women as nurses in World War II. I chose this topic because it interests me, and I want to learn more about it. B. Its important for me to write about this subject because nurses during WWII were very important. I want to further my knowledge to have a better understanding of the life these women lived while in the war zone and who exactly these women were. Meaning I want to learn if they were single, or married, there ages, what class they came from and what areas in the United States they were from. What made a woman want to go to the war as a nurse? How were the nurses protected?

C. Im not promising everyone will be interested in my topic choice, but its quite interesting in the idea that these women saved many soldiers lives. These women should be seen as heroes as well. D. I plan to find most my information online. Another potential source could be the EBSCHOst hear at the school. The EBSCHOst will provide books, articles, and journals all related to my topic. E. The only thing that may challenge me is narrowing down the information I find into the most important things to share. I also think it will be difficult to tell people something they have never heard before.
