Microsoft Security Advisory (980088) This is the advisory that I picked from the list.

Step 5: It was discovered my users and publically reported. If people would have used this vulnerability, they would have been able to access files if they knew the specific file name and location. This could potentially fall under brute force attacks. If exploited, someone could steal your personal information if you kept it on file, or sensitive work related information if they knew the file/location. They are advised to keep protected mode turned on for IE. This will eliminate the problem. Step 6: Internet explorer has a lot of problems. It is like this because it is so widely used that it is a prime target for people trying to exploit something. And with how bad Microsoft is normally at taking care of bugs and such, it makes it even more appealing to try to exploit. Step 9: Internet explorer 6-9 are at risk. They recommend to run Windows Update to patch the problem. Step 10: Most of the updates are for Internet Explorer/general Microsoft updates.
