Assignment 1. A exchange serves 3000 subscribers. If the average busy hour call attempts are 10,000 and call completion rate is 70%, Calculate the busy hour calling rate? 2. Calculate traffic intensity for the total period observation is 1 month and the period for which the server is occupied are 4 days. 3. Calculate call completion rate for 10,000 call attempts and 5000 successful calls over the period of observation. 4. What is the difference between busy hour, peak busy hour and time consistent busy hour according to definition of CCITT. 5. In a group of 10 servers each is occupied for 30min in an observation interval of 2 hours. Calculate the traffic intensity carried by this group. 6. A subscriber makes 3 phone calls for 3 minutes, 4 minutes and 2 minutes duration in 1 hour period of observation. Calculate the traffic intensity created by subscriber for the server. 7. Over a 20 minute observation 40 subscriber s initiate calls. Total duration of the calls is 4800 seconds. Calculate average subscriber traffic offered to the network.
