To disable access to Windows Update In the Group Policy Object Editor, expand Computer Configuration, expand Adm inistrative

Templates, expand System, expand Internet Communication Management, and then click Internet Communication settings. In the details pane, click Turn off access to all Windows Update features, a nd click Enabled. Click OK

Start / Run / gpedit.msc / Local Computer Policy / Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Windows Update / and disable Re-prompt for restart with scheduled installations.
