Steps to perform 26AS registration

Go to www.incometaxindia.gov.in and Click on View Your Tax Credit.

Click on hyperlink in option 1

Screen for new user registration or login as existing user

After clicking on Register", enter PAN and press Click Me

Message on successful registration and subsequent instructions to activate account is displayed.

 You will receive the confirmation mail from the E filing website with the link to activate the account. Click on the link given in the mail.

After clicking on hyperlink in mail.

Login with userid(PAN) and password

Go to My Account and click on View Tax Credit Statement(Form 26AS) option.

Input the assessment year and date of birth/Incorporation to proceed.
