Introduction to the Resource Person/Course Instructor Dr. Muhammad Parvez Mughal, Dr. Muhammad Sultan Khan and Dr. Muhammad Abid will be the lead resource persons to offer this valuable course. Dr. Mughal is working as full Professor in the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and has been the faculty member at GIK Institute and is expert in thermal sciences and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Dr M. Sultan Khan is working as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at GIK Institute and is expert in the area of thermal sciences. Dr. Muhammad Abid, is working as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at GIK Institute and is expert in the area of Computational Mechanics and application of thermal fluid sciences for different applications. All the three experts have been involved in the development of different course contents and course notes. Learning objectives On completion of this module students should be able to; understand, the basic principles of advanced heat transfer and computational fluid dynamics and fluid mechanics; increase knowledge in the area of heat transfer and fluid mechanics ; plan projects for research students.
