Meeting friends and loved ones in dreams.

I'm rather new at writing blog posts, but I've been reading blogs for a while now, and it would seem that most of the articles fall into two groups: a report on an experience or a commented list. The first kind consists of the bloggers' reported reaction about something that they've experienced. It could be a quick comment on "what are you doing now" as most tweets are; or it could be a critical evaluation of a movie or book that t he writer enjoyed or disliked. The second category are curated lists, like top tens, or things the blogger di slikes, etc. Sometimes the lists get boring when they are written as ersatz ency clopedia articles and try to be comprehensive and authoritative. Another risk is making the list pretentious or just an exercise on name-dropping to show off. The most fun lists are those that are quirky and a little bit strange and reflec t the interests and obsessions of the bloggers. And if they are really good the writers will explain how these odds and ends in their lists are related at least from their point of view. These lists are like the treasures a kid will bring f rom a beach vacation, some beautiful things, some gross things and some mysterio us objects. Most of my posts will try to be of the second kind, the flotsam and jetsam of a life. One thing that always moves me is the way some songs and poems use meeting ag ain with a friend or loved one in a dream to convey a feeling of sadness, displa cement or yearning. Series of dreams. Horace. Gardens of March. Cuna blanca. Ricardo Montaner. Ending of xxxholic. Du Fu. sonhei que estabas tan linda.
