I tells me that the person also wanted something else that someone has. The poem is about a person that wants some right that some one already has. This is obviously a dark skinned person talking about the white people. I chose this because its made me think about the fact that back then black people didnt have rights like white people did. For example the black people had to go the back of the bus and white people could take the Seats of the black people if they wanted too.

8.What mood did the poem create in you after reading it?

It made me feel happy because now we all have the same rights. For example we can all ride were we chose to on the bus and we can go to the same restaurants without getting kicked out.
