1. Are your tires pumped up? If they seem soft, pump them up to 60 PSI using the pump chained to the shelter. 2. Do the brakes work rmly and without squealing? (Bikes #10-30 have a back pedal break) 3. Do the wheels spin freely? Also check wheels for damaged or broken spokes. 4. Is the seat height correct? If not, then adjust using quick release and tighten back down. 5. Riding at night? Be sure to turn your lights on. 6. Scan all other components for obvious damages. 7. If damage is found, return to library, ll out damage report at circulation desk, and request a new bike. 8. Put on helmet and adjust to t rmly on head. 9. Dont forget to always lock your bike. 10. Check again for damages when returning bike. If necessary, ll out a damage report when returning keys to Tisch circulation desk. No keys in the drop box! *If you do not report existing damage upon checkout, you may be charged for the cost of repairs.
