The Napa Taxpayers Association is holding its Annual Banquet and Awards Dinner on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Napa Elks Lodge. A three course dinner of baked salmon or pork loin with cranberry sauce and complimentary wine will be served. The keynote speaker will be Heather Gass, who will discuss "The Dark Side of Sustainability". Reservations for the dinner must be made by April 22 by contacting Catherine Clark or Marjorie Preston. Since 2010, the Napa Taxpayers Association has been actively monitoring local and state issues affecting Napa county taxpayers and providing oversight of bond measures totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.

Since formation of the Napa Taxpayers Association in 2010, members have been actively engaged in monitoring, researching and educating the public about local and state issues affecting the taxpayers throughout Napa county. In addition, individual members of the association are currently active as oversight committee members on six bond measures involving the expenditure of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars in the county.
