ADVERBS

Adverbs are words that tell us more about verbs.


Adverbs of manner tell us how actions are done. E.g. Arif walks slowly. Types Of Adverb Adverbs of time tell us when the actions are done. E.g. Mr. Li bought a new car yesterday. Adverbs of degree tell us how much of the actions are done e.g. He has almost finished the cake.

Adverbs of frequency tell us how often the actions are done. e.g. He usually cycles to school

Adverbs of manner time Example quickly, gracefully, carefully, quietly, excitedly, soundly, etc. last week, tomorrow, soon, then, now, last year, next week, etc.
