Business Proposal Data Networking

Our client is an average computer shop located at #9 St. Ann Street Maricaban, Pasay City. This shop has 12 stations that are connected by a switch. According to the shop owner he has no idea how his computers are connected to each other, so when there are technical difficulties they struggle to fix it. There are also reports that some customers can gain access to restricted malicious websites because they do not know how to set up a web filter, also this computers are not in synchronized with each other due to each has their own firewall and blocks different packets and even their own packet where they are connected as a result the administrator of the shop disabled the firewalls instead of using it.

The main objective of this project is that to be able to connect all the computers under a single network with a same firewall to keep the computers in a synchronized manner and avoid casualties that are caused by some malicious viruses at the same time the computers must also meet each other. The administrator also wishes to block unnecessary websites with a use of an open source web filter. We will also be explaining how to maintain the network to avoid inconvenience. They also want us to set up 1 computer as a server that will be able to control the other computers (Shutdown and Restart etc.). The design of the network must also be saleable so that more computers can be added without redoing the installed network.

With this implemented there are no more rooms for error and for the devices to fail. Business flow will surely be much smoother that before because less money will and time will be used to maintain the units of this shop.
