Silica is a compound of silicon dioxide (SiO2), which is in use can take a variety of forms, such as amorphous. And the variation of its amorphous form, silica is often used as a desiccant, adsorbent, filler, and catalyst component. Silica is the main raw material in the glass industry, ceramic, and refractory industry and an important raw material for the production of a solution of silicate, silicon and alloy. Meterial used comes from bagasse ash by precipitation process using sodium silicate solution dilution with a solution of sulfuric acid and sodium chloride using a temperature of 100 C in the reactor. Then the mixture out in the form of slurry and disposed of in the tank. Designed production capacity of 5250 tonnes of mill / year, requiring raw bagasse ash as much as 8750.5 tons / year, NaOH 8% in 2112 ton / year, 100% NaCl 2685.44 tons / year, Sulfuric Acid 687.225 tons / year. The factory was founded in the village planned in the city of Malang, East Java. Production of the selling price of Rp. 92,860,211,411 per year. Profitability includes Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 24.93%, Pay Out Time (POT) 3.27 years and Break Event Point (BEP) of 29.389%.
