Sub: Use of Admixture for RCC Works of Water treatment plant and
laboratory Building for Phase III and IV

It has been observed that Liquid Admixture presently being used by M/s Jagdish
Engineering for the civil works of Water treatment plant and laboratory Building for
Phase III and IV is under approval and need not be used further till the approval is
accorded. Therefore the Liquid Admixture Sikament 600 HP / 2 [A] shall be used.
However there is flexibility to use Liquid Admixture Fosroc SP 430 MS as these
products are approved by APL Mundra.

The design mixes with added feature of fines and workability as to ease the placement
of concrete with Boom placers was discussed and SEPCO III shall revert back on
26.12.2008.The revised mix proportions are handed over to Shri Zhang, SEPCOIII.
The revision is proposed for Mix M25, M30 and M35

For Cooling towers Phase III and IV use of PPC shall be explored and accordingly the
Mix shall be designed at site.
