A Circle of Ten, Inc. Network for Collaboration (C10) and East Texas Center for Independent Living

C10 has received TCDD funding to bring our 3-day leadership & capacity building seminars to their Grantees & Partners to leverage funding and sustain programs through collaborative grants. Other nonprofits are also invited! Training costs partially covered by TCDD to eligible leaders working toward Project Priorities.

About A Circle of Ten


C10 is a nonprofit celebrating 17 years and 1,000+ Alumni from nonprofits, towns, business es, schools, etc. whove done amazing things and brought in millions in grant funding. C10 is an approved OneStar Foundation provider, winner of the 2009 Texas Governors Community Collaborator Award and recipient of a US Dept. of Health & Human Services $ 750,000+ capacity building grant.
Laura Mattheis, C10 Alumni and East TX Center for Independent Living Executive Director, comment after attending C10s 3-Day Seminar. The training was thorough and a positive experience and is undoubtedly prove beneficial in the future when we pursue additional funding. The emphasis on collaboration was consistent with our current practices. ETCIL was originally started by C10 Alumni.

Targets: Core Program & Grant Development Team of Staff/Volunteers key to growing services & writing grants.

Three-Day Process of Collaboration Seminar Linking Leadership, Grass-Roots Community Organizing, Innovative Program Development and GRANT WRITING. This unique tailored seminar builds on
existing skills, specifically targeting individual & agency needs. C10 believes people in the field, doing the work, are best suited to develop their programs & write their own grants. A Small Class of 15-21 individuals narrows the scope of training for greater effectiveness. Core Program/Grant Teams multiply the success of each agency.

Three Step Process of Service allows staff to meet individual and agency needs.
Step 1. Pre-Workshop Interviews & Research to assess your needs, find funding & plus tailor the class for each agency. Step 2. Three-Day Workshop to teach the process of community, program and grant development. Step 3. Post Workshop (2 hours) Consultation builds confidence to new grant writers as C10 walks you through the first/next grant OR provides board, program development guidance to Boards, Executive or Program Directors.
