Reported an increase inhealth-related quality of life (HRQOL) after surgerythe patient Omsk. HRQOL assessment specifically for Omsk in Indonesia has not been reported. Objective: Assess the quality of life of patientsbefore and after surgery Omsk. Materials and way of working: Research divisivelatitude. Data taken from the history using aquestionnaire grimy Omsk-15 in patients aged> 18 years at the ENT department of Dr. Otologi.Semarang Kariadi mastoidektomi 6 months aftersurgery. Analysis of test data by paired t test. Results: Twenty cases of Omsk who underwentsurgery with a lifespan of 18-64 years, most seconddecade of 7 people (35%), male 12 (60%), female8 (40%). Obtained improved quality of life of patients after surgery were significantly better thanthe ear symptoms (Ear sign), auditory function(hearing function), mental health (Mental health) andoverall score (Overall score). Conclusion: There was a significantly improved quality of life in patients with Omsk after the operation. Key words: Quality of life, Omsk.
