The CrucibleCreative Project Minimum 500 words. Develop one or more of the options below.

Be sure to include your knowledge of the events of the play in your response. Be creative!! 1. Script: Write a drama of a scene between Abigail and John Proctor or between Elizabeth and Abigail. Develop this scene fully. Make sure to include some action and drama. If you would like to choose another set of characters to write about, feel free to do so, but check with me first. 2. Newspaper: Create a typical 1692 colonial newspaper. Include at least one article about the witch trials. Other suggestions are obituaries, social announcements and advertisements. 3. Epilogue: It is 10 or 20 years after the witch trials. Report on what the surviving members of our cast are now doing. 4. Cartoon: Draw a series of cartoons or create a comic book that retells the events of the story or that makes a statement about the events. 5. Song or Rap: Retell the events of the play in poem or song/lyric form. Make sure you develop this fully. May be performed for the class for extra credit. 6. Eulogy: Create a tombstone and epitaph for one or more of the deceased characters. Must be fully developed to receive full create. 7. Talk show: In a group, develop an interview or talk show format to perform for the class. Serious moral and ethical issues must be investigated. The script of the talk show is to be turned in after the performance. Use props as needed. 8. Interview: You are a reporter. Interview several of the main characters who are either for or against the proceedings surrounding the events of the play. 9. Re-write: Change the ending of the play to suit you. Do John and Rebecca have to die? Write a scene, including stage directions and narration, that changes the outcome. 10. You Choose: If you can think of another way to creatively express your knowledge of the play, see me for advice and to have your project okayed.
