RAHMAT KURNIAWAN BIN TOHAWI Head Of Family Knowledge And Attitudes Relationship With Households Participation In The Active Alert Village Program In The Taba Pingin Village Work Area Simpang Periuk Health Center Lubuklinggau City In 2012 xxii + 85 page + 2 tables + 5 image + 3 figures + 12 enclosures ABSTRACT Constitution Republic of Indonesia 36 of 2009 is mandate development in the field of health and achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) including the development Alert Village Program, to 2009 in Indonesia there is 56.1% Rural and Alert Village, whereas Indonesia targets to be achieved is 80% rural and urban villages in Indonesia has become a Village and Active Alert Village. Alert Village is a village whose inhabitants have the readiness of resources, ability and willingness to prevent and resolve health problems, disasters and health emergencies on their own (Active Alert Village Development Guidelines, 2008). The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitudes Households towards the participation of Households in the Village of Taba Pingin the Simpang Periuk Health Center Lubuklinggau City in 2012. This study is Dekriptif Analytic with Cross Sectional approach. The study population was all Households living in the Village of Taba Pingin. Samples are taken amounted to 86 respondents. The results of univariate analysis showed that of 86 respondents, 31 (36%) of respondents either participated, 45 (48.8%) of respondents either knowledgeable, 42 (48.8%) of respondents being supportive. The results of bivariate after analysis statistics a Chi Square test in getting the value of value > . It can be concluded that there was no significant relationship between knowledge and attitude of Households with the participation of Households in the Alert Ivillage Program in the Village of Taba Pingin working area of Simpang Periuk Health Center Lubuklinggau city in 2012. Suggestions for Leaders of Simpang Periuk Health Center of Lubuklinggau city is expected to optimize the performance of the officer in charge of the implementation of the Alert Village Program.
