Wi-Fi connectivity

For

Windows 7

1. Go to control panel Network and Sharing Center and you will find the below window in that select Set up a new connection or network another window will pop up as shown below

2. Select Manually connet to a wireless network as shown below

3. While manually confugring you will see below window

In the above window perform the settings shown as follows:

Network name: tikonawifi Security type: WPA2-Enterprise Encryption type: AES And also check mark the option connect even if network is not broadcasting Click on next and then click on Change connection settings

4. After the above step you will get below screen.

5. Click on security tab.

Select Security type: WPA2-Enterprise Encryption type: AES Choose a network authentication method: Microsoft:Protected EAP(PEAP) Click on settings shown in above screen to get below screen

Here Uncheck validate server certificate as mentioned above

Select Authentication Method: Secured password ( EAP-MSCHAP v2)

Click on configure to see below window.

Uncheck Automatically use my windows logon name and password (and domain if any)

6. Click ok and revert back to the below window and click on advanced settings

Specify Authentication mode: User authentication in below screen

Click on Save credentials you will get below window

Enter your login User id and password in following window and click on ok

7. Go to 802.11 settings and uncheck everything ( if anything is marked)

8. After all steps click ok and close all windows and go to desktop click on wireless Icon shown in task bar then it will show tikonawifi in available wireless network

Click on tikonawifi you will get option of connect, click on connect and your wireless connectivity will be active

9. Your connectivity status will be as shown as follows:

10. Now Go to browser and type any URL you want to visit it will give you tikona login page as shown below just enter your login credentials and you will be connected to Internet.
