Warm Watercolour ArtWizard Guide

Step 1: Click Default to render a posterised coloured outline which has been created with a Stencil Source and a pre-set solid colour.

Click the Stencil radio button above the Palette to view or change the preset Stencil, which uses Source 9 of the Posterised Colours Tab.

Step 2: The ArtWizard has rendered a coloured wash on top of a pre-set Stencil drawing from Source 11 of the Posterised Colours Tab.

To change the bright colour wash, select an alternative Source from the pre-selected Source 11 of the Bright Colours Tab. Once clicked, the new Source will automatically render to the Canvas.

Step 3: Paint the main coloured detail from Source 7 of the Main Colours Tab using the Brush. Alternatively, click Default to render the ArtWizards coloured detail, or click Fill to automatically render Source 7 to the Canvas.

Experiment with Colour intensity and contrast by using the B/C (Brightness/ Contrast) Mixer and the H/S (Hue/ Saturation) Mixer, currently both set to 50,50.

Step 4: Paint the white highlights using Source 3 of the Highlights Tab, or click Default to render the ArtWizards highlights.

Use the B/C (Brightness/ Contrast) Mixer, currently set to 50,50, to increase or decrease the intensity of the white highlights.

Step 5: Paint fine white highlights using Source 2 of the Highlights Tab. Alternatively, click Default to render the ArtWizards pre-set fine highlights.

Experiment with Colour intensity and contrast by using the B/C (Brightness/ Contrast) Mixer and the H/S (Hue/ Saturation) Mixer, currently both set to 50,50.

Step 6: The ArtWizard has added the finishing touches from Source 14 of the Drawn Edges Tab to add more structure and detail to the painting.

Use the B/C (Brightness/ Contrast) Mixer, currently set to 55,57, to adjust the strength of the drawn edges.
