SUMMARY
OF THE
LESSON
Sculpture in the Western world began in Ancient Greece. Although it's been thousands of
years, Ancient Greek sculptures continue to inspire modern artists today. Throughout
history, Grecian approaches to sculpture, and the principles developed by the ancient
artists, have been used extensively.
