REASSEMBLY
Clean the motor shaft Inspect the motor shaft for surface finish and measure the dimension of the motor shaft at the impeller sitting area Position the motor with respect to fan casing centre line Assemble the impeller Provide asbestos cord and assemble the cover plate with the spiral casing Check and record the impeller clearance Mount Shaft seal at the casing side wall. A minimum radial clearance of 0.1 mm should be maintained between seal and shaft surface Clean the equipment and work area Surrender the PTW QUALITY All the parameters, activities are maintained within prescribed limit. Any deviation from the norm is recorded and corrective action is taken accordingly. ENVIRONMENT Not applicable. OHSAS Ensure PPE, Helmet, adequate lighting near the work place. Ensure the lifting tools are in adequate condition. Ensure proper earthing of the equipment / area of work as the case may be.
