It is believed that Zachary's ancestors did not come to America through Ellis Island like many immigrants, but first appeared in Surry, Virginia in the early 1600s. Zachary's maternal family name was originally spelled "Browne" before coming to America. Zachary describes his grandfather as a nice, caring person who owned a successful car dealership, allowing Zachary's grandmother not to have to work.

    After many hours of researehlng and trying to find out as much about my family as I
    could, I discovered that my mom's side of my family originated in England in the Wales area. ln
    my family no one really knows the reasoning behind our ancestors leaving England to come to

    that my family did not go through Ellis lsland like a lot of immigrants did. When

    my family came over from England there was no trace that they came through New York. The

    first placed that came upwas a place called Surry Virginia in the mid-early 1600s. Also, my
    mom's maiden narne is Brown, and before my ancestors came to America they spelled there

    My grandpa was a very nice and caring person and was always pleasant to be around.

    He passed away in 2001 just a couple of days after the terrorist attacks. He owned a car

    dealership and was a very successful person at it. With his success it allowed my grandma not
