JOIN US FOR A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT BREAKFAST CELEBRATION ON MAY 15TH!

By 2030 the percentage of older Americans aged 65 and older will represent 19% of the population. In 2011 13.7% of the population in TN was over the age of 65.

Join us to celebrate our community and how everyone at every age makes a difference and an important contribution. The recipient of this years Eleanor Johnson Professional Excellence in Aging Award is Detective Kat Cooper with the Collegedale Police Department. She is being recognized for her work investigating elder abuse and neglect. Valerie Radu, PhD, LCSW will present an update on the uniqueness of the current aging population on state and local levels and the implications for professionals. Dr. Radu will then lead a lively intergenerational discussion with a group of students, older adults, and community residents on the secrets of unleashing the power of life, love, and success at any age! You wont want to miss this fun celebration!
