MIDTERM REFLECTION

HIV and Aids Awareness

In the world we live in, there are many differences between today's youngsters and those who
came before them in terms of conduct, attitudes, institutions, and trends. We can't dispute that the
majority of today's youth seem to enjoy taking risks and trying new things. They are now at a
stage in their lives where they are more curious about themselves and aggressive in sexual desire,
which is one of the reasons why HIV and Aids continue to spread because the people who are
infected with it are mostly youth or young people, who have become so liberated that their future
is influenced by how they handle things. As a result, HIV/AIDS awareness is a program that will
benefit not only young people but also adults. For the avoidance of HIV results, persons who are
suffering and carrying this disease should become conscious and cautious of performing
activities that are not safe. As today's youth, we must all be cautious of our actions. It is certainly
OK to enjoy life, to live today, to be liberated, but never forget to protect your future, since time
will come, and you will regret all you've done. completed in your life It is not too late to make a
difference; practice safer sex to aid in the prevention of HIV transmission.

Drug Abuse and Prevention

If you ever feel like your life is bleak and you're trapped in the dark because the scenario you're
in now is full of obstacles, suffering, and struggles, you may believe there's no way out. Never
use drugs to escape reality; it is not the way to solve all of your issues; it will only make your life
more miserable than it already is. Abuse of prescription drugs and prevention is the most
effective strategy to raise public knowledge about the negative consequences of drug use, which
may devastate not only your life but also the lives of your family and those around you. We’ve
witnessed lots of people and situations that involved to drugs, and they all end up to in two
situations, first if you are lucky enough and God give you another chance to change your life you
might end up to jail but to the worst situation that you can no longer prove anything because it
might end you up to death. Don’t let anything ruin your life just because curiosity hits you or
someone push you to try it, always remember to be friends to those people who have goals in life
who will help you to become better version of yourself, do not be friends to those people who are
fake because fake friends are like shadows, they will only follow you in the sun but eventually
leave you in your darkest moment.

Peace Education
We all face a variety of challenges in our lives, and today we are all struggling as a result of the
pandemic brought on by the covid-19 virus; we are all affected, and there is no one who is
immune. Obviously, we are now surrounded by all of the negative events in our lives; therefore,
it is time to put an end to all of the negative thoughts, hatreds, violence, conflict, war, and
inequality toward one another, and instead practice good etiquette that children, young people,
and adults will look up to as a role model in life. The reason why “peace education” was
declared by numerous nations because our world is now full of difficulties so for us to overcome
all of this, we must spread peace, humility, respect, unity and kindness to everyone because it is
a great foundation to obtain real happiness. Applying peace education in our life is a one step to
improve not just yourself but as well as the people closed to you. Practicing and applying it to
our everyday living is important, consistency is one of the best attitudes that all people must do
because wherever you go and whoever you are talking to, you can confidently bring yourself
without being ashamed of being who you are. You have the ability and the capability to
communicate and involve yourself in different people and for me it is one of a talent.

Voter’s Education
People say that the main reason why our country never achieve to have a change because of the
rotten system of the government, we can never be able to experience a comfortable living life to
our country because of the corruptions, the politicians who only thinks for their own sake and
satisfaction. The citizens of the country are the one who will going to suffer and will experience
the poverty, poverty that will lead to crimes, injustices, homelessness, food insecurity, lack of
child support, under resourced schools, and unsafe environment. If you are tired from all of this
you must do something about it, ask yourself if you are willing to fight for the change, a change
that will help not only you but all your fellow Filipinos. It’s time to make a change, in this
incoming election, you must be wiser and be responsible of your actions, your one vote is a must,
we must have learned from the mistakes that was happened in the past, do not believe from those
flowery words and promises that they’ve maid, instead look for the facts and things that they’ve
done, if they are really capable and have the ability to be a leader to your country, do not put
them on the position if they are not deserving. We deserve a leader who will put his heart in
action, a leader who will decide without affecting the country’s people. I, a first-time voter in
this coming election, will never waste vote, but instead it’s the other way around, I will use my
vote today as my investment for the future.

Environment Awareness
World life is important to people because it provides a wide range of benefits the food we eat,
the water we drink, the air we breathe and many other materials that we as a human need to our
everyday living, we can never survive without it. In today’s dynamic world, we are facing lots of
issues such as pollution, deforestation, global warming, ozone layer deception, waste disposal,
loss of biodiversity, acid rain and many more, and this kind of issues is just brought by the
human activities. To think that we are the one who brought this issue to our mother earth is so
scary, considering the fact we are the reason behind why our environment slowly dying, people
are so insensitive to the point that they never cared at all. That’s why we are promoting

environmental awareness to everyone, for other people who are not cognizant about how fragile
our world is. It is not too late to make a change, we can still make a difference even in just
simple way, your care is what we need right now. Involve yourself in different activities that
promotes environmental awareness, by just participating we can build a better future for young
people and to our children.

Global Citizenship
Our world is interconnected with one another, despite of our differences, how far we are with
one another, and no matter what our situations right now can affect another without us knowing.
The fact that our dissimilarity builds a huge wall for people, we can still be able to feel that we
are all belong in this global community, no matter how different you are, and whatever that
status you have in life, you belong in global community because in global community even a
smallest and poorest society have a great contribution for the development of the global
economy. It so ironic that some people do not understand how the global community works, they
never respect other perspectives in life, cultures, traditions, and even the way they live their life
for, they just believe in things that they think right. No one has the right to make decisions for
others, you are more than what they labeled you, their opinions about you doesn’t matter. You
have a great contribution to your society and to the global community. Let us start spreading
humanity, diversity, and love from each and every one, stop the wars and start breaking the
walls, because right now we must build bridge that will connect us to have a harmonious
relationship to people all over the world

Human Rights
We are all unique in terms of our values, beliefs, cultures, traditions, and perspectives on life,
and we may never fully comprehend the reasons for their traditions, but we have no right to
criticize them because we must respect and accept them for who they are. What binds us together
despite our differences is that we are all equal in terms of the dignity and rights that individuals
must have. We must respect each other regardless of their socioeconomic situation or how
different they are from the people we used to see. We are all unique in our own way, we don’t
have to fight one another just to prove that you are more superior than anyone. Nowadays,
making fun with other differences is so easy, using social media, people make some jokes in
their comments and reactions, they effortlessly offending others just because of how different
they from the things we used to see. We should not tolerate those kinds of actions, making some
jokes or offending comment just for the likes in social media is not a good thing. Your actions
and behavior have a big impact to others, so be aware and know your limitations.

 Entrepreneurship
During the epidemic, many businesses shuttered, many people lost their jobs, and many chances
were lost. All of the things we used to do changed in an instant, and all of the things we thrived
in vanished in an instant. It is difficult to battle for things that are uncertain, especially when it
comes to starting a business. You never know whether you will succeed or fail in this profession,
therefore you must risk your centavo, your time, and even your life. There is no assurance that
all the things you’ve done will be paid off, but that’s how the life works. We can never really tell
how far we may go or how far our decisions will take us, however, it will be surely worth it.
Building your own business is a lot of courage, it is necessary to take everything seriously, you
must be sure in very decisions that you make, it is hard, difficult, and challenging for a beginner
but once you overcome all the problems that you may encounter, it will certainly and assuredly
be paid off at the end of the day. If you ever think of entering business industry, you must try it
first in just a small business, don’t be afraid to invest, do not let your fear empowered you to
make business. Always remember that if you want rainbow, you have to through first in the
storm.
