Consequent upon receiving concurrence from organizations/individuals listed below, the Secretary Department of Sports, Culture and Tourism, Government of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa is hereby pleased to constitute with immediate effect, a Swat Tourism Advisory Group (STAG), consisting of the following members to coordinate, guide, and facilitate flood recovery and tourism sector planning and development initiatives in Swat District. Act as a coordinating and recommendatory body (Think tank) to Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Government (Tourism Department, PaRRSA etc.) for flood recovery and tourism sector planning and development initiatives in District Swat. 2. Review and finalize Swat districts tourism sector recovery and development strategy developed by USAID FIRMS Project or add activities to the tourism strategy. In addition, prioritize activities to be implemented in tourism sector. 3. Recommend additional technical assistance as needed, to USAID for approval. 4. Serve as a knowledge management function including disseminating best practices and lessons learned amongst the stakeholders. 5. Ensure that an inclusive process of consultation involving all the stakeholders is carried out to revive and strengthen tourism sector in Swat. 6. Suggest recommendation, prioritize activities and place them before competent forum for approval.

7. Coordinate, create synergies and review progress of the stakeholders working in tourism sector. 8. Highlight sectoral issues and suggest solution to the concerned organizations for addressing issues, ensure knowledge management and information dissemination 9. Dovetail the activities with the KPK tourism sector vision document and action plan being developed by KPK Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of FIRMS Project. 10.Chairperson STAG will be on rotation basis from public sector followed by private sector, for a period of 6 months each. In case of absence of chairperson, a. The absentee Chairperson will nominate someone from his group of representatives to hold the position of Chairperson for that meeting b. In case the absentee Chairperson does not nominate someone to represent him/her, then the next representative in line for becoming the Chairperson from private or public sector will be the Chairperson for that meeting. 11.Make recommendations and decisions by consensus.
