Proposal for the album

Title Express Yourself Format 4.75 inch x 4.75 inch Purpose to hold, protect and display our product Target Audience: Both genders. Age range 16-25 The socio-economic scale for our music video is C2, D, E. This expanded into various lifestyle characteristics, one of these being a struggler. The characteristic of a struggler would be able to relate to our dog character through the fact the audience are able to witness the dog struggling with his everyday job. We used comedy to put everything together because of the comedic value. It takes away from the actual song, which in generally for a niche market converting it into mainstream. This factor relates to uses + gratification theory- escapism. Another lifestyle in which it can relate is Aspirer, people can relate to the dog because its clearly shown hes aspiring to do more than his dead ends job offers. One of the main lifestyle characteristics is to do with exploring. This can be seen to lead on from the aspiring quality as our character is seen exploring Brighton Pier after his aspiration to move on from the job he is clearly unhappy with. The final characteristic, which we see in our character, is that of a reformer. With the qualities of personal growth, social awareness and value for time we see the curious enquires the dog has leading to his hope for freedom from restriction easily relatable the majority of our audience. Content (Front, Back, Internal L, Internal R) Pimp looking dog surrounded by girls, or lots of girls feet along with the dogs in the shot, barcode will be placed on the back bottom left, song titles will be placed in the in the centre with the colour scheme continuing and the continuity of bubbles occurring on the front and back pane. The left internal L pane will be holding the albums booklet in which the colour scheme will still continue along with having the same typography as the front and back panes. The internal right pane, which holds the CD, will show the CD to once again have the same colour scheme as the rest of the album. We plan on having a dropped ice cream on the actual CD itself, which is intriguing to our audience because they dont know the reason behind it and by listening and watching our video it could make sense. We are using women on our front back and inside panes this is extremely conventional for this type of music and genre. The options vary however with the idea of the continuity of a rollercoaster image continuing through near to all of the panes. House Style We will be keeping the same typography throughout our products and same size. We will also be having pictures continuing throughout our products including the red waistcoat with the buttons, which the dog is constantly wearing.
