Ingredients

200 gms tamarind (imli) 100 gms jaggery (gur) 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder 1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal) 1 tsp dried ginger (soonth) powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 1/2 tsp chilli powder

Method

Add water(2 cups)to tamarind And bring to boil for 10 min. Strain it with soup strain. Add roasted cummin powder, Black salt,dry ginger powder, Red chilli powder,garam masala Jaggery and salt. Bring it back to flame for about 10 minutes again,untill The jaggery melts completely.

10. Make the chutney a little thin 11. Because,it thickens on cooling.
