Dept. of English at Sanskrit College, University of Calcutta, India. He is pursuing a doctoral programme on Expatriate Sri Lankan Fiction in English at the Department of English, Jadavpur University. Apart from presenting papers at several national and international conferences and regularly contributing to academic journals, he has co-edited two anthologies, Anxieties, Influences and After: Critical Responses to Postcolonialism and Neocolonialism and Studies in Indian English Poetry . SNEHA SAMADDAR is a film studies student doing her MA in English and Communication. She is also a professional dancer and hence belongs to the realm of interactive and communicative art form and also connects to them. Watching films is just not a pass time for her but she studies films and cinema in a wider aspect.

PRERITA SEN studies English literature in Jadavpur University and writes on cinema. Her interest in particular is on the films of Ingmar Bergman.

MARJAN RIAHI is the Founder & Manager of Short Film News, (http://en.shortfilmnews.com ) as the first news network on short films and documentaries in Iran & Asia. She graduated in Communications Science, Journalism branch from Islamic Azad University and then in Cinema Directing from Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS). Marjan is the Chairperson of Shorts Competition in 17th International Childrens Film Festival Golden Elephant in 2011 (India) and Chairperson of NETPAC in 15th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in 2011 (Estonia). Apart from this she is a jury in several international film festivals viz. Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema in 2010 (France), 9th Third Eye Asian Film Festival in 2010 (India), 4th European Off Film Awards GRAND OFF in 2010 (Poland) etc. Apart from being a Journalist as well in Iranian newspapers and journals, she also directed a documentary on Iranian actresses called Directing Eternal Mothers in 2001.

SHUBHAM ROY CHOUDHURY is a Project Fellow at Multimedia Stories project, School of Media, Communication and Culture,Jadavpur University. He is doing his PhD on transition of film sound from analog to digital technology in Hindi cinema from Dept of Film Studies, JU. He works on film sound and new media.
