Research Question:

How effective is internet marketing in the private banking industry of Bangladesh?


Research Objectives:

To identify approaches those private banks take in Bangladesh for marketing in internet. To identify what private banks strategize to exclusively achieve from internet marketing. To identify what are the limitations of internet marketing those the private banks in Bangladesh face. To make recommendations for an effective internet marketing strategy for the private banks of Bangladesh.

Methods of Research:

Interviewing CXOs/marketing-executives of a sample set of private banks of Bangladesh along with a questionnaire structure set in light of the research objectives. Analysis of the primary data from interview along with review of relevant literature wrote both locally and internationally about internet marketing.

Subjects of Research:

Accessible executives (CEO / Marketing Director / Marketing HoD / Marketing Executive) of the following institutions1. National Bank Limited (first commercial bank of Bangladesh) 2. First Security Islami Bank Limited (fastest growing commercial bank in terms of new branches opened) 3. Social Islami Bank Limited (fastest growing commercial bank in terms of new branches opened) 4.
