    When the brow is held in place for a few seconds or more, this is an emblem which means doubt or questioning.

    This widened eye can be a momentary show of interest, or can occur in addition to or in place of a word like "wow." The widened eye can also be used as a conversational punctuator, accenting a particular word as it is spoken.
