Examples of Greetings on Backside Hello, Neighbor Greeting Hello, neighbor, what dya say? Its gonna be a wonderful day. So, clap your hands and boogie on down. Give a little bump and turn around! Where is _____? Greeting (Sing to the tune of Frere Jacque, go around the circle) Group sings: Where is ___? Where is ____? Child sings: Here I am, here I am. Group sings: How are you today sir / maam? Child sings, Very well, I thank you. Group sings, Were glad youre here, were glad youre here. 1, 2, 3, 4 Greeting 1, 2, 3, 4, Come on ____, hit the floor. (Whoevers name is called comes into the circle and does whatever s/he wants as a movement: bow, curtsy, wave, dance, wiggle, etc.) Were so glad youre here today. Hooray, Hooray, Hooray! (Student moves to someone who has not had a turn and stands in front of him/her. Group then chants 1, 2... with new childs name.) Hello, Hello Greeting Hello, ______, how are you?
