Chocolate cake - fudge base.

Ingredients 3 oz self raising flour 1/2 tsp salt 2 oz plain chocolate 3 oz butter or margarine 8 oz sugar (reduce to 7) 2 eggs 1/2 tsp vanilla Method: Line tin. Sift flour and salt together Melt chocolate in double boiler Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and cooled chocolate. Stir in flour mixture and blend well - fold in. Bake for 30 mins. May fall slightly when removed from oven.
