Chocolate Cake - Brownie Base
Makes 16 pieces (basic recipe) Ingredients 2 oz butter/ margarine 1/2 lb sugar 2 eggs 3 oz self raising flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp vanilla essence 2 oz plain chocolate melted Method: Line tin. Cream butter, add sugar and beat till light and fluffy. Add eggs gradually and beat till mixture is smooth. Add melted chocolate. Gradually add flour and salt sifted together. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into tin. Bake for 25-30 mins, wait to cool then cut.
