The purpose of this message

As part of our safety and security measures, we will be conducting a Fire Safety drill on th 9 May 2013 between 1.00 PM 2.00 PM & 7.00 PM 8.00 PM at Mysore th 10 May 2013 between 6.00 PM 7.00 PM at Bangalore

What do you need to do?

On the fire alarm being activated, Stay calm and do not panic. Please evacuate the office premises immediately using the nearest fire exit. Kindly assemble on the main road near vehicles parking area which has been identified as the Safe Assembly Area (SAA) for this drill. You can get back into the facility/work area, after a head count of all employees has been done and clearance is given by the Admin team.

As part of Floor Wardens Responsibility(ERT Members)

Dos: Observe and report any safety or health hazard. Familiarize yourself with the floor safety plan and be aware of the fire exits and safe assembly area. Ensure smooth evacuation of employees. Provide assistance to pregnant women and physically challenged persons, if any. Use fire extinguishers to fight fire only if trained and safe to do so. Give first aid to injured person if trained to do so. Assist in casualty evacuation.

Donts: Endanger your own life in discharging your responsibilities.

Note:
Processes / resources that are very critical in nature, would require to take approval from their respective HODs in advance and keep the admin team posted. However, we would encourage Maximum participation. Employees are requested to kindly read through the Basic Fire Safety manual as well. We will have Observers all across the floor and also in the Safe Assembly Area to observe your participation and Drill.
