Nah..

Nothing to do with such paranormal psychic phenomena Instead it is a wearable device that augments the physical world around us with digital information

Presently there is no link between our digital devices and our interactions with the physical world.

Information is confined traditionally on paper or digitally on a screen

SixthSense bridges this gap, bringing intangible, digital information out into the tangible world.

SixthSense frees information from its confines by seamlessly integrating it with reality, and thus making the entire world your computer.

The device created by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) scientists can turn any surface into a touch-screen for computing, controlled by simple hand gestures.

The gizmo can recognize articles in newspapers, retrieve the latest related stories or video from the Internet and play them on pages.

A framing gesture will enable the user to shoot pictures, and it can be reviewed on any surface immediately

The gesture of drawing a circle on the users wrist projects an analog watch.

And drawing an @ symbol will project the mail.

A symbol of magnifying glass will show you a map application

You can know about the flight schedule by just looking at the flight ticket..

The SixthSense prototype implements such several applications that demonstrate the usefulness, viability and flexibility of the system. All for an amount of just $300.

While the gadget is not being primed for mass release it represents a forwardthinking way of blending technology with our environment.
