Composition major Musicology major 2013 Application Information Sheet

Applications close: 8 December 2012. Supplementary Applications will be accepted on next working day Monday 10 December 2012. You must complete: The Universitys online application at: www.auckland.ac.nz/applynow BMus Composition/Musicology major Supplementary Application Form*. A statement of musical background/experience. A portfolio of composition works (if applicable). Statement of musical background/experience

A statement of musical background/experience is required. This can be in the form of a letter or Curriculum Vitae (CV). Attached to the letter or CV should be: Certified copies of your highest grade music certificates. A reference from at least one music teacher, with whom you have studied, who can write about you and your musical work. If you are applying for the Composition major you are also required to submit a portfolio of 23 composition works. Printed material and/or audio, or a CD with WAV, MP3, sib or pdf files are accepted.
