year as a Physical Education Teacher, as well as, my fourteenth year as the Head Football Coach here in the Monona Grove School District. I have known Kevin for about 20 years and had the privilege of directly coaching him during his high school years in both football and basketball here at M.G. High School. During Kevins high school years I observed outstanding work ethic, leadership and a great love for all sports. He displayed a hunger and passion for the game and constantly looked for ways to improve himself as an athlete and leader. Through my years of coaching Kevin we began to build a strong player/coach relationship. We continued to stay in touch after he graduated and began to form an even stronger connection. This relationship symbolizes the type of leader and coach Kevin would be for the Mishicot School District and football program. He understands the importance of building lasting personal connections with those he works with and the players he will coach. Since Kevin has become a high school coach his passion for the game of football and leading young men has increased. I have observed first hand his great dedication to the sport of football while at Columbus High School. Throughout the season and off-season we find time to watch film together and discuss Xs and Os. I have witnessed his knowledge of the game of football increase tremendously through his experiences as an offensive and defensive coordinator at the varsity level, as well as through attending clinics and networking with other highly successful head football coaches. Another asset that Kevin possesses is his ability to communicate in a positive manner. He demonstrates this by his daily interactions with his players and peers. Kevins positive reinforcement will help motivate young men to do their best. Moreover, his ability to lead will be an immense advantage for all the young men in the football program. In closing, I give Kevin my highest recommendation!
