(Answer to this question is limited to two A4 pages with single space and font size of 12. References, if any, should properly be quoted)

Question 3 (50 marks) Perform a mass balance for typical water treatment plant with the treatment sequence indicated below. Ignore screenings removed from the bar rack and travelling screens.
