The stakes for the Jericho resistance movement against the Allied States have reached unparalleled heights.

Jake Green and Robert Hawkins continue to try and find a balance between their family lives and their mission to abolish the A.S.A. They are forced to take new risks that may endanger the people they hold most dear. Jake learns that Emily has been bonding with the new teacher in her school; John Smith. To Emily, Smith is just a friendly new stranger whos helping the resistance, and could use some hospitality. But Jake knows that Smith was the mastermind of the September Attacksand he doesnt dare tell Emily, for fear it may put her in great peril. Jake isnt the only one in town who must conquer new challenges. Dale continues to try and expand his business by reaching out to the Richmond family, only to be shut down. Mimi struggles to keep a dangerous secret from Stanley. And Major Beck and Heather navigate through their complicated relationshipas Beck realizes he cant bear to see Heather in the line of fire. But all of Jericho is shocked when John Smith uses The Precipice to orchestrate the collapse of the A.S.A. penal system, sending dangerous criminals out into the streets. Smiths plan involves the arrest of Hawkins, so he can be used by the resistance as bait for the A.S.A. Yet just when it seems that Smith is outsmarting everyoneits revealed that Jake and Hawkins have been planning their own ruse all along
