Amitabh Bachchan Actor

Amitabh Bachchan is an iconic artist, par excellence, who has transformed himself in the past four decades, to evolve from the image of the "angry young man" of Hindi cinema, to a social transformer. As an actor, he has accomplished the feat of appearing in over 180 Indian films. The Government of India has honoured him with the Padma Shri in 1984 and the Padma Bhushan in 2001 for his contributions towards the field of arts.
